hi i have a mini SPi 1993. is there any modifications you would recomend? dont have a huge budget. thankyou

stage one kit "performance air filter,sparkplugs and full exhaust system" £274 off minisport will give you more ponys and a better sound, good place to start

different cam, SW5 perhaps? Port/polish the head, fit big valve head, a couple of ideas for you.

Give the car a good service in general. Stage 1 kit is good start althou dont expect much more extra BHP. I added a stage 1 with a DTM backbox and got 2bhp & 5lbs/torque. She actually lost top end power with the bad DTM exhaust so stick to the RC40 exhaust with the kit! lol

Make sure all the handling bits like cones etc are all in top condition as these will really affect the way it drives.

Could also add a negative camber kit which isnt expensive to help with handling!
