I kinda agree with him, my opinion is 'stop waiting for someone to give you something and go and earn it'

I like this, all about getting off our arses and doing something. Rather than waiting and expecting things to just happen.

Just like to say so I don't seem a lazy...

I'm currently studying an IMI In Motor Vehicle Maintenance as well as Re-taking English GCSE.

and I'm currently building websites as I can't find a job.

Oh and of course. The Mini :o

Not a promotion, just so people know I'm not what the guy writing the article thinks I am.

i disagree, it was easier to go have fun years ago, you could go off and mess about down the park or go shooting with your air rifle in the woods, you didnt have worry about cars running you over as you walked down the roads. i know alot of things my dad talks about doing with his mates sounds wreckless but he is still alive and it sounded a right laugh.

now that nice parks a houseing estate, its almost ilegal to shoot anywhere these days, and the roads have 100x more cars now.

Mr health and Safety has ruined alot of things that the older generations enjoyed, i mean you cant even climb trees anymore without a hard hat and harness.
who invented Mr health and safety? the older generation who now moan about everything the young people seem todo, they took away the fun so in a strange way they owe some sort of compensation to the young they robbed the fun things from.

i'm not having a pop at the old but the child hoods my parents and grandparents talk about, seem so much richer and full of stuff they could do.

i do agree with this. i live in a quiet little village, cant be more than a good 15 houses. I got to a college in Cambridge. in pretty much the worst part. it is a LOT harder to find anything fun to do there than it is in the country side! there really isnt anything to do! its not that there isnt anything supplied and bought for people to do, just there is nothing to even mess around in / on!!

last summer, me and a mate in the village messed around with an old farm tractor. must be war era or just after! one of the real old ones! got that going and were soon driving it round the farm tracks and miles of field side tracks. great fun! even better with a shot gun, go out and come back with dinner!

all they seem to do in cambridge is play xbox, wander the streets and end up getting in trouble.

noah, and others like. This is not aimed at yourself and like you. Its an unfortunate choice of description, but we are unable to brand a certain way of life as it would upset their human rights. Then we would be up **** creek
You've gone out and done something for yourself learning. There are thousands of micreants out there that have somehow got through life, without doing a single days work, scrounging off the system, and blaming any wrong doing on the authorities and anyone else but themselves.
If they bothered to look around they would see there are so many opertunities for them. They don't they expect everything handed on a plate.

I think this really applies to a select few of teens, those who think everything should just come to them, and dont bother to so anything and have been on job seekers since they were 16, unlike us mini folk, as we need to fund our minis. me like others, actually do something, i have 3 jobs, work 60 hours a week , and now run 2 cars, including the mini while trying to sort that and the main thing that takes all my money is the girlfriend ;P don't take offence, if you feel your doing enough.
