Oil makes a difference under acceleration.
But to smooth out 4th gear its a needle job.

I haven't changed anything and the flat spot is not as noticeable anymore, but what has changed is that now, instead of being flat at the described point it know does what feels like a horrible missfire...?

I have no idea of how this has started, but i have started to take action by buying an acuuspark electronic ignition kit to get rid of the points as the first place to start is the ignition system, then go to fuel, yes?

I don't know if this will get shot of the missfire or not... How have you overcome a missfire?
