Not my first post but first pictures so thought I would introduce myself.

After locating a pretty substantial water leak coming in via the rear arches and the rear parcel boxes, my 'body shop man' and missen decided to have a good look around, sort any rust out and repair and replace where necessary.

Will also be putting on Sportspack Arches and new bits and bobs here and there....anyways...some pics below of the ongoing work. Should be all ready in a couple of weeks, fixed, sealed and resprayed.

Up the Owls.

...over the last ten years I've come to learn...it's the rust you can't see that huuuurts...and thanks to one of the 'aged' population of Cambridge, reversing into me, I managed to replace the front end and a wing for nowt :-)

I wonder if the mpi rusts less when every panel has been replaced? :D

Surely that depends on how well you paint and rust proof the replacement panels? So long as you make a better job of it than Rover did originally, (which shouldn't be difficult to achieve even if you're both blindfolded and drunk at the time), then your mini should rust far less.

..aye..after 10 years I've actually found a man that is brilliant with the mechanical and now a very, very good man for the body...but by bloomin' crikey I have been 'recommended' some right blooody cowboys...

When everything is done I will post details about them both...will check with them first..but then anyone in the region can have a look.

Nice project to be going on with.

With your photobucket pictures instead of using the link hover over the picture and a drop down box will appear. Click on the IMG CODE and this will automatically copy the picture. Then just paste it on your thread.
