Clean with brake cleaner, I presume you just mean the dash pot?

and pop to halfords, get a polishing pad for a drill and a backing plate, get some auto sol and some wire wool and set to work.

im after a proper chrome finish. and i cba to mess im after some one that can polish the whole lot. cheers noah

PM Teapot, he has a pic on his engine build thread that is truly gorgeous. I think his mate did it, but if you ask nicely he might tell you how he did it.

Hello it's me. I'll get the details on Monday but Dougie works at a machining place where there is a polishing machine. It has several attachments but the one he has used on Huey's carb etc he says is like a pony tail. There is also a belt sander. I guess it looks like this

He used to work at a place where they chromed parts for Aston Martin and other toff cars
