Hi all as in title what's the best way to clean a k&n cone filter cheers guys

buy the cleaning kit for them.

some use petrol but i dont know what oil they put on afterwards.

as above K&N sell a cleaning kit and new oil for the filter

Got another question rather than starting a new topic may as well just ask on the oil filter housing there's a pipe that goes to the block on the oil filter end what holds the domed nut on mine just had a rubber seal and you can pull the nut off is that correct.
