up for sale due to getting bmw mini


this engine is a genuine 60k engine and box stripped for inspection valves re seated ,and reassembled using all new gaskets and seals, new clutch kit, rebuilt diff using new planet gears,upgraded diff pin ,new thrust washers,new fibre output washers, brand new water pump, new temp sender,new core plugs ,all painted bmc green ( cost £450 for engine and box ,£125 clutch kit,£90 to rebuild diff + gaskets and seals ect)

full hs4 twin 1 1/4" genuine cooper carbs on genuine cooper manifolds ,complete with genuine cooper air filter housings and rare valve, all media blasted fully rebuilt with every new moving part (cost£500)

probably a load more i have missed off









can not describe how nice these carbs are so will let pictures do the talking













will accept sensible offers around £1500 , may break if enough interest ,if not i will keep as i am sure there will be another classic along in the future

Looks a nice piece of kit, Did you do any work on the block mate, bores, pistons, rings etc ?

No work on bores as they were excellent

If its still available and you decide to split then i would be interested in starter motor, alternator, radiator and fan, electronic distributor, lucas gold coil, a few of the DSN parts and possibly the carbs too..
