I am currently building a Vtec zcars mini and was wondering of anyone had created a template for enclosing the bulkhead? Any thoughts on where to go to find something like that?
Thanks
Ed

I just bought a few sheets of aluminium and cut cardboard templates for each panel. I seem to remember that the Z-Cars kit still needs trimming as it's only cut to the rough shape and by doing it myself could improve access. Only took a couple of evening to make the whole thing.

I bought the kit from Z's then ended up redoing a load of it to my personal spec. If you're expecting a perfect fit from the Z's kit you wont get it, an amount of fettling will be required no matter what.

I guess it depends how handy you are with the tools and the willingness to DIY, it'll be cheaper in intial layout to DIY but if you're totting up the man hours then it may be cheaper to begin with the kit......

Good luck

Since I am int the States, having a kit shipped gets ridiculous price wise. If their kit requires a bunch of extra hours I will just create it myself. I was just hoping for an easy way out. Thanks,
Ed
