I'll give you £2000 for it

Haha only joking (but seriously, I will!), gotta be worth a fair amount look well done and you can see that money has been spent on it, but at the end of the day it's only worth what someone will pay, and you are always going to lose money - so I say keep it :)

It looks good Ben but it could go one of several ways. It could go for £5k + or down as low as £2.5K depending on whether they like the modifications etc.

I like the look and it sort of appeals. At this time its not good to sell anyway due to Xmas and folks tightening their belts.

At the end of the day we can all pluck figures out of our arses but it's what ever someone wants to pay you for it - could be 50p, could be £7k. I'd put it up for auction starting at the minimum you want for it

Wow that is a very impressive car and also with all those mods it looks like it could successfully be used in competition but you would be in a catagory with much bigger cars,

very hard to put a value on it as its so custom, I would say somewhere around 6-8k
similar cars like the Z-cars conversions go for a bit more and arnt much different in quality and power so it may be worth more

the only thing that puts me off about it is the stickers, got to be worth £5k all day long, could do around £7k if you find the right buyer.

nice car ;-)

Hey thanks everyone for the comments and replies, Think i have the right idea now, Thinking about advertising it during the summer shows but well see, no rush just yet.

Have you declared all this? Just curious :proud:

I have yes! i couldnt do it over the phone so i went to autosport and sat down with an adrian flux representative and showed him this list and pictures, funny enough he said that the vauxhall engine was actually cheaper to insure than my 1330 because they see the engine swap as 1 mod and not as a tuned engine even with the carbs, obviously i am now runnning an uprated cam and head but at the time i first insured it, 21 with 6 points 1 years no claims a revoked licence all mods declared and covered like for like, 6k valuation and 8000 miles a year fully comp and allowed to drive any car for £165 a month for 9 months, (my 1330 was £250 a month and my ka was £145!)
the car had a thatcham cat 1 alarm and a 15% dicount for being in a club and not driving to work. 2 years later im now paying £130 for 9 months

Also told me that as its modified so much they see that itl be looked after more!

Sounds alot but for my age and licence conditions but id say its brilliant.
Never been pulled over by the police in this, had police come over and stop next to it but only to talk about it! Mots are fine too and vauxhall were more than happy to fill me out an engine report :) Well worth the money!

Engine converted Minis just aren't doing well any more. I've got a '71 C16XE Allspeed one running Jenveys, mappable management. A few SBD bits in the engine. SD cage and harness bar, Corbeau Forzas, Minisport 4 pots, Gb alloys, Yoko tyres, Avo suspension ..... I'd take 3.5k for it tomorrow as they just aren't selling well mate. I'd say advertise it at 5k and you might be lucky, maybe get 4?
