hay what do you guys think of this for my mini british racing green paint job with race stripes ska check roof all crome exterior accesories crome and cream interior with with a green bead can any offer up any ideas for which type of mini is best and i can buy for between £1000 and £1500

Getting a cheap minis becoming a bit of a misnomer these days.

It really depends on what yu want to do to it. If you want something you can just get in and drive, then your grand will probably go on a mid-80s 998 city. if you want something better (1275 or something "special"), you're going to have a bit of body rot, and will need to throw some cash at fixing it. It als depends on whether your budget includes the shiny bits. A paint job'll be at least £400 (if you don't want it to peel off), graphics will prob add up to around £80, and chome bits can soon add up. A set of arches, new bumpers (in case), a grille and some spots with a bar will probably set you back the best part of £300. So if your tope budget is £1500, you've now got £700 for a car..... For that you are even looking at a 998 with rust!

tks for the help i think il go for condition rather than shiny bits its the safer especially for my first car and it will keep my insurance low
