Hi,just thought id ask what these numbers refer to ?.
Been cleaning mine up today & saw the digits 1959 which obiously caught my attention ?

I assume it is not a real 1959 model on its original CVs?

Manufacturers use all sorts of numbering systems, sometimes to indicate date of manufacture, at other times to indicate some exact dimension. CVs are allegedly selectively assembled, the number may be put there after measuring the outer to tell them which size of inner, balls and/or cage to fit.

Yeah its a mk1 mini with a mk2 68 reg doc but just saw the 1959 part & got really curious to find out what they all mean.
will clean it up abit better tomorrow & see what else it has stamped.
