hi i have a 1987 mini city e and have tryed to connect a rev counter i have connected the wires in the back of the dash but nothing happens were do the wires go to so i can find out if the other end is connnected

Which tachometer? Smiths RVI, Smiths RVC, or an aftermarket tachometer?
