We bought an engine from med for a class b mg midget race car at my old work, one of those build yourself kits, where you get a fully machined block, etc. machining work on the block was checked and foun to be absolutely spot on. Had one slight issue with the head, being that the two middle combustion chambers were slightly different size compared to the outers, but they were more than happy to sort it promptly. That engine was a 1380 full race engine, and produced 144bhp/120ftlb, happily revving to 9,000rpm. Lasted us a full race season too, and everything was still in good condition.
