About £3200 after a quick working out. Thats the car, paint job and ICE. Its all the little things you don't think for that soon add up.

Too bloody much, granted it's not as much as some people on here but it's a lot to me. I've decided not to keep count on what's been spent so I don't have an exact figure but around 2k.

I'd say I've hit at least 2000 and thats without a re-spray...and no doubt 60% of that is labor charges :'( ...hence I'm now really knuckling down to doing the work myself :-

only had my car a couple of months and have spent about 3 or 400 quid the majority on niceties not essentials. have a long way to go yet before its anywhere near perfect as i need some bodywork doing. i am a mechanic myself so i save myself alot doing what i can when i can. no good with bodywork tho so if there are any of you out there that are in the oxfordshire area let me know. my big concern at the mo is keeping the costs down, my main argument to my lovely lady for getting the mini was because it would be cheap to run, mustnt let her read this thread or im in a world of poo. ;D

Carbon Roof £220

Ooooo, where you get a carbon roof for £200? I'm guessing it isn't showing weave?

Bought the roof of a mate.. it is a curley roof showing weave..

They mucked up his order for a fibreglass roof so ofered him a deal on a carbon.. which he bought ready for his vauxhall mini project.. then decided to get a VW camper.. sold everything off cheap.

Result for me!
