Hey!

New here, just got my first Mini, a 1998 Cooper.

Love it, just took it for a spin, so fast and fun. Brilliant first car, roll on the maintenance!

Pretty standard spec, had a new rear subframe fitted, RC40 cat-back, K&N filter, Yokohama tyres.

Looks great. Nice to see an mpi without sports pack arches. Enjoy.

Lovely Mini!

Exactly same as my 1998 Cooper, only mine is LHD.
Happy Mini miles!

Yeah, chose it for the superior handling mainly, and it looks like more of a classic imo.

Thanks for the comments everyone! Yeah it does appear to be really good so far, small sign of rust on the front headlamp chrome and on the boot floor but thats nothing to worry about, hopefully.

Thanks!

First upgrades are going to be a chrome trim for the wheelarches, and some Sparco pedals.

Yeah, don't see too many of them on here from what I've seen, too many sportspacks for my liking!

There's not, I don't think there was a lot of Cooper Classics made compared the Sportspacks

Thanks, managed to do a poor hill start on my drive earlier, slight dent in the rear chrome bumper :( Suppose those knocks are inevitable in a first car, at least they're cheap to replace if I get a couple more.
