So I've got my Mpi Cooper, and as they're prone to rust is it a good idea to get a cover for it to put on overnight when it's raining?

If so, which one to go for? Loads on eBay, just not sure what ones are good, or if there is a standard one on here that most people go for.

Thanks.

Stomforce 4 is excellent, but cats love them. They claw them and climb up them to sit on the roof or bonnet. Mine was trashed by neighbourhood cats in less than a year. Prior to that it was excellent

I've kept it and now throw a screwfix tarp over it. The results are brilliant.

Doing it again I'd use a cheap cover that's soft on the paint and throw a tarp over. Cheap and very effective.

Ok, guess I'll just have to waxoyl it and hope for the best, can't park it in a dry area unfortunately.

Cooperdan, no I don't. I leave the tarp fairly loose. The paintwork with this combo was dry as a bone even after heavy snow and rain. As good as the stormforce was, it never kept the paintwork bone dry.

Unless you have used both combinations, its best not to offer a misleading opinion.
