Hi there, im new to the forum but have been a mini fan for a number of years now. I'm on my 3rd mini resportation project and loving it. I'm currently restoring a 1972 black mini which I have spent the past few weeks welding on sills, front panel, rear vallence, etc and the odd repair to the shell. This shell is to replace the 1972 shell that was completely rotted and beyond repair. This car has belonged to my brother since 1988 and has sat in a field since 1989 rotting, hence why it is beyond repair.

I have spent many an hour looking through ebay and other mini sites for the best bargins to restore the mini but I am stuggling to find the original green mini seat covers. Do any of you know what the colour is called and where I get them from? Your help on this would be very appreciated, thanks.

Kevin from North Devon, proper job!!
Typed by my gorgeous wife to be because it would of taken me 3 weeks to type this much lol END

This is the mini I am restoring, the pics where taken in my fathers drive in 1989 and the car has sat at the bottom of a wet field since. As vandials have smashed the glass etc. there was nothing much to salvage.

Hi there, I'm also a big fun of mini. My mother gave my first mini when I was 22, I just want to ask if there is an insurance that I can apply for my mini. Like a person, I treasure it so much specially that it is given by my mother. I want to have one so that when accident happen and my mini hit badly, hope not. I can easily get it repair. The reason one buys life insurance is to protect loved ones from financial hardships in the event one runs down the curtain and connects to the choir invisible. However, not everyone thinks to claim it, which is why there is more than $1 billion in unclaimed life insurance benefits waiting to be claimed.
