Unfortunately the rolling road is out of action for the moment. They said give it a week before enquiring.
*edit* What did you do to it, richw911?
Oh no! My 63bhp must have been too much for it to cope with

I think Matt might have pre weakened it with his 115BHP Metro.

Another plus for Tipton Garage ...
Huey has been suffering from (excuse the technical jargon) two-peg syndrome for a couple of weeks
which means although the weather isn't getting cold yet he needed two pegs on the choke for a couple of minutes,
otherwise he spluttered and bogged down at low revs. Plus once warmed up, the engine would die on coming to a halt.
Steve understood what I was on about, and found the mixture screw had been tightened right up. He reset it, bunged the gas analyser up the exhaust, checked the engine with a strobe and raised the idle speed a tad.
He was very busy in the workshop with proper jobs and I hadn't phoned beforehand.
About 15 minutes' work and he charged ... nowt. What a nice guy.
Huey immediately felt ok again so I'm just waiting to start him up from cold tomorrow to make sure all is well.

Already running sweet but always piece of mind to get everything set up right.

We'll happy excellent service and top fellow who tuned it up. Spent nearly 3 hrs there charged me for an hour n half, stripped carb down, adjusted tappets and timing.
Runs well now..... Highly recommended. image.jpg 76.06K 9 downloads

Another plus for these guys, really friendly and knowledgable. Steve sorted my timing and mixture out and fabricated me a new sandwichplate for my air filter for peanuts. Top guys and would definitely recommend them to anyone in or around Exeter.

Visited them yesterday after pre booking on the way back from Beaulieu and they did an excellent job on the rolling road. Steven talked through what he did and got the engine running really sweet a nice compromise between performance and drivability. Explained the settings and how to setup if i moved to electronic ignition. Would highly recommend.
