I usually run archless but when fitting plastic 'special' arches i dont use a side trim...but many use a rubber stripe instead.
Anyhow here the correct part:

I too use black rubber trim, but instead of buying new trim, I buy a new door seal instead (which is basically just rubber sill trim with a compressible seal attached on one side). I then fit the new door seal to reduce the chances of future leaks, then strip the compressible side off of the old seal and use that as sill trim instead. One door seal is more than enough both sills and you get a new leak free door seal out of it too.

I've got black Delux style plastic trim between my arches. To stop it pinging off it is held with self tappers at each end.

Jaydee thanks. I think I like the look of the original part I found from that link.
Av it, can I see a pic as I'm not sure I'm with you from the text.
Surf, funnily enough it's my experience with this product that has prompted this thread. Mines in the bin.

I'm afraid I don't have a pic that explains, basically the black rubber sill trim you can buy is the same stuff as classic mini door seal but without the foam rubber strip on one side that compresses when you close the door. So if you have any old door seals lying around, just strip the foam off of them and use that as sill trim. If you don't, then replace your existing door seals with new (as its only a matter of time until they develop holes/leaks anyway) and then strip the foam section off of your old door seals and use them as rubber sill trim instead. That way you get new door seals as well as trim for your sills. One door seal will give you enough rubber trim to cover both sills though.
