Urr. I think, the top one has three bolts holding it in, One at either end and one at the centre.

and I think, the radio housing and the chrome strip and the switch panel hold in the bottom one....

the top one is an utter PITA to remove with the windscreen in - I will never take another one out without removing the screen first.

Got the top one off without removing the screen, pretty easy job once the screws were found

well the workshop manual does instruct you to remove the windscreen!

I thought maybe this was only in the event you are leaving the main dash panel (full width) in situ. Otherwise yes, I cant see why you couldnt wiggle it out with the screen still in place.

I took one out with the screen in, but I don't see how it would have gone back in as I had to bend & twist it.
Easy to do while pulling the bolts through the dash, but I didn't want to attempt it the other way round while attempting to line up the bolts.

There is a removal/fitting guide on our website for dash rails: LINK

It's actually a very easy job and you don't have to remove the front windscreen as suggested above. Simply remove the three bots, one either side and one in the middle (also remove the bracket plates) and it pulls up and out.
