Decided to change my dash AGAIN going back to a centre speedo retro look, have a choice of either a 3 dial oval set up with speedo, oil and water OR just use centre speedo in the smaller cowling.........SO am looking for the bulb holders and bulbs for the older style dash, they are of the CLAW type...saw some on MINI SPARES BUT they are like £3000,000 EACH without the bloody bulb...as anyone here got any floating around........think I need at least 5 ......oil, main, ign, indic and a couple for illumination ...as always need a hero

I'm doing mine in the next few weeks, have you ever done any basic electronics, is just noting what wires get soldered to what wire, I'd say the most difficult bit is going to be installing the new speedo cable.

I was going to make the wiring myself but was very glad I opted to go for the minispares wiring conversion. The wire colours match that of the loom in the car and all the bulb holders etc were included.

I'm on with converting my 1990 Cooper to centre speedo, and have an 1977 loom, but I was missing the conector from the back of the speedo to the main loom, then I found and ordered this

You get both halves plus all the bullets
