Looking to do the box section on the mini will use waxoly or similar.

I dont own nor can i borrow a compressor, so what are my alternatives?

I though I could use one of those pressure sprayers, you can use for weed killer.

Or just use a load of aerosol (is that possible)

And ofcourse the hand waxoly sprayer, though it would cost me about 35 pounds to get on to Sweden

Any other innovative methods?

He needs to get it inside a box section, no access for a brush.

Yeah I have a couple of cans on the shelf, though is it possible to use the aerosol to reach everywhere?

Which box section are you doing?? the floor or the bulkhead cross member?? The floor one you can use the captive nut holes and if you heat up the tube to form it into a curve you should be able to reach everywhere with that. You could also drill a couple of extra holes for right at the ends then use a grommet to blank the holes off.

The front cross member can be done from inside the car. Just under the dash rail there are two large openings that you spray into and for the ends if you take out a couple of the front damper mount bolts you can spray in there as well.

The holes are just above the repair section.

Is there any advantage to using the type you attach to a compressor? I was looking at using Dinitrol and just hiring a compressor for the day.

Dinitrol is very good and is the product of choice we use on Civil aircraft. There are various types, some are a two stage product others just a single stage. Using a compressor will give you an advantage with pressure and also the different attachments you can use with a gun.

I got my set from halfords, it came in a plastic carry case and came with a large tin of wax oil and an applicator which you screw onto the tin and pump it up like a garden sprayer then just pull the trigger and spray, it came with an extention probe for box sections as well and was about £20

Like this, it worked great, you have to put the tin in hot water though

I reckon when its hot it would come out of a garden sprayer its virtually the same

Good find minisilverbullet and that sounds like a good kit Club man. So far Dinitrol is winning as my preferred product but I guess the Waxoyl kit to use with Dinitrol would work - it's a lot cheaper than renting a compressor anyway!
