I have decided I will never use this so was going to put in the forsale section but What sort of money are these worth,

Yup, all there....

It's the bit on the end which replaces the magic wand is sometimes missing...

As for value, I'm afraid I have no idea, but finger in the air, somewhere between 50 and 100 ?

Looks all there to mr as far as I can remember. Funny how we all used to fit things like ths. Maybe today people will want to keep Mk1's with the standard walking stick / pudding stirrer. Guess its like We used to fit Mk2 rear lights, whereas now people are fitting Mk1 rear lights. Good luck with the sale.

I think 50-75 is about right, might go for more as its in good nick.

its worth a post on the Mk1 performance site, they will have a better idea, and may be interested in it.

Never seen this linkage type before,is it internals of a remote or different all together ?

Different all together. Pre dates the remote. It was a very early accessory / mod to improve the gear change ofthe Mk1. It was inside the car, bolted to the top of the tunnel.

Ahh right so it pivots on those mounts for the side to side motion needed to change across into another gear ?
Cant afford that but want one so bad ha ha
