Does anyone know a good company to insure an MPI in Ontario? I'm moving over in less than a month, and the Mini is going with me. The insurers there seem to not like RHD cars much, or especially brands/models that don't fit their standardized databases!

Bump for this topic. In Toronto now, and the Mini is on the way!

Hey buddy. Look into "silver wheels" If you are over 25 years old and have a decent driving record, you may be eligible for classic car insurance which is much more affordable.

thanks for the idea. Alas, they require that you have another "normal" car as your primary. For now, the Mini is the only car I've got licensed, so I had to get regular insurance...which cost a pretty penny!
