Hi All,

I have my very own mini at last, will put some pics up later but in Mini Chat.

She's a standard 88 998 City and I am looking at doing some basic mods to the engine like fitting an LCB, inlet manifold etc to get some slight performance gains.

The question is, will these fit onto a 1275 A+ engine as well ? She is definately going to get one put in once I have the funds and space to purchase and rebuild one so it makes sense to only add upgrades to the 998 that can be transferred across...or just not do anything engine wise until I have the 1275 !

Thanks

Jimmy

The bits you have mentioned will fit both engines, so go for it :-

They can but the LCB is rubbish with the 998 engine. You need a Freeflow manifold for them which again will fit the 1275 physically but isn't the best for it.

If you try to get parts that will work for both engines you'll end up compromising both ultimately.
