If yes what's happened to the car and how does it look today?

And from comments I found through the Google, the other one they did with Carbon fibre look wrap , well that started to rust.

I remember it sold for cheap. Guessing it has a few rust bubbles here and there.

That was a tragic restoration, really poor with a half welded A pane repair. Quite a number of years ago now which explains the low price.
Wheeler Dealers have got more professional doing seemingly decent cars now, its just the presenters who are still annoying, "'Old aht yer 'and"

Mike Brewer is proper annoying to be honest
But Ed China is a very good and very competent qualified mechanic, who isn't too good at presenting but he gets the job done...
What I wish they would do on Wheeler Dealers is stop buying cars that are really out of most peoples reach and buy cars that have common problems and are a common sight on the roads... Its all well and good buying a Porsche Boxster with a faulty gearbox, filling it with oil and it miraculously starts to work.... I would have thought that any trained machanic would have changed the gearbox oil as a matter of course with it being an automatic/tiptronic gearbox.... basic maintenance on auto's...
Also if people can remember back a few series, they sorted a Suzuki Rhino jeep, did a **** load of work to it, fitted a roll cage, painted it black then took it for its MoT... it failed on a ruddy great hole in the load bed.....? ******* Off...!!! Im pretty sure that it would've have been spotted whilst it was being prepped for paint....

I like them both. I wish I had Mike's negotiating skills. As an American, I am sad to see that the show has become "Americanized"; It's becoming a watered down, polished turd! Ed is a really good presenter though and one can learn a good bit watching him.
I wish we knew what happened to the green mk1 they did. ..

I remember I lost a lot of respect for Mike Brewer when he appeared as a special guest at MITP and starting talking buying s/hand Minis. He suggested that you "check the chassis carefully for rust". I know he probably knew what he meant, but seriously mate - do your homework and know your audience.

Brewer plays the part for tv. He's also a very capable and accomplished mechanic.
Tv isn't real life...
Is he a mechanic...?
Iv seen him do a couple of things on the past series's of WD but I didnt know he could do anything as complicated as changing a bulb....
He always seems to 'play dumb' with Ed when he brings a car into the workshop.... maybe it is just playing to the camera's but it's proper annoying when he plays at being a bit 'fick....

http://www.mikebrewermotors.com/ he knows what he's doing, as for being a mechanic I'm not sure... Ed a mechanic maybe, but it's just a piece of paper and we know the work is really done by 'his mate paul'
the show is terrible, but that's it's audience people that don't really know about cars or even care about them.
bring back the is born series..

Ed's obviously very good at what he does now but there's a huge amount behind the scenes you guys don't get to see too.
Neither are "fick". They have a structure for the show and it has to work to get the tv companies to buy into them. Often the guys are tied to a platform even they can get frustrated with.
It's an entertainment programme. These guys don't make a living from these cars and there's a team of people behind it all now. Eds wife is very clued up and manages a lot of the behind the scenes stuff.
Yes it's very Americanised and there's good reason for that. It sells globally.
If you want real life then wheeler dealers isn't it. Don't judge the guys on what you see on the tv etc. It's acting a role.
Eastenders isn't real life either lol

Yeah, I hope it doesn't happen to Mighty Car Mods. Apperently, velocity is airing episodes.

Yes I know Mike and Ed. Mikes pretty clued up and not the person you see on the tv or at shows. He's a decent chap to be fair and what you guys see is a TV 'personality'.
Ed's obviously very good at what he does now but there's a huge amount behind the scenes you guys don't get to see too.

I've met them both when I appeared on an episode about 3 years ago and can confirm what minihobbymini is saying they are not really like their on screen persona, although being a northerner I took the pish out of mike for his accent. They are genuine car guys and Paul 'the mate' was also good company.
Its been a great programme but i'm saddened by its current americanisation as well.
