Probably about £50 out of the car. A bit more if all the ancillaries are still on it.
To get any real kind of value the purchaser needs to be able to test drive it in order to ascertain the condition of the auto box prior to its removal. If you can do this you may get £100-£120.
Whichever way you'll probably have to wait for a buyer to come along as 998 autos are not very desirable - a 1275 would fetch more.

I sold the auto engine out of my 998 on Ebay about 2 years ago, it came on the subframe with drive shafts and hubs still in place!
It was a non-runner and it fetched £167
As above, it's worth more if it can be driven
