Can't drive for at least 2 weeks, maybe 3

Daytime tv is crap, so crap

Gaming is out, due to the cast and hand

As my old Mum used to say, "Get a book and read"! The Haynes Manual is a good thing to start with. See if you can memorise all the torque settings and bore/stroke dimensions!!!!
Hope you soon recover. All the best.

Rollocks! Hope ya on the mend soon!

Last time I broke my arm I had an allergic reaction to the anaesthetic. When I came round I was hallucinating badly. I though I was surfing the trolley that I was on and could control it (which was great in my head). The actual reality was very different! I allegedly developed a bad case of tourettes, I bit the nurse and was trying to drink out of the tube that was in my arm! Nice!

If you have one of the old game consoles such as a mega drive, saturn, snes, n64, etc then you may find that you can play them one handed. My friend Sam had an operation which prevented him from using his right arm for a bit. Due to the lack of buttons needed to play the old games and flatter controller he could play using just his left hand. He got pretty good after two weeks of it. Enough so that he completed Mario World.

Someone said I was lucky to get time off when I got chicken pox (I was at uni and aged 21). It was a nightmare as it was when I was supposed to be doing my dissertation so had to spend my time at my desk, ill, writing my report.

There are plenty of good programs to watch on the internet that aren't on british TV.

Try searching for Mighty car mods on youtube (they have a 1 and a half hour feature film as well). 5th season just started a couple of weeks ago.

5 seasons of initial D plus all the extra and battle stage episodes. There is also a live action film of it as well. Its a Japanese cartoon about street racing. Watch the subtitled episodes not the dubbed ones as they are awful.

26 episode of Wangan Midnight. Another Japanese cartoon about street racing. There is no English dub of this. There is also a live action film of.

366 episodes of Bleach. This is a Japanese cartoon about the War between the Shinigami (death gods) and the Hollows (bad spirits). There are English dubbed episodes up to a point (about 280 episodes). 4 full length feature films for this as well. Good site called Bleachget have them all.

About 24 episodes of Deathnote. Japanese cartoon about a lad who tries to make a utopian world after he gains powers from a Shinigami (different death god). The Shinigami is bored with the Shinigami realm so decides to have some fun. Very clever and there is a decent English dub of it. Also 3 live action films.

Powerblock TV. 5 different shows, loads of episodes. On horsepower they rebuild and test engines, muscle car they rebuild muscle cars, trucks they do some off road vehicles and pickup trucks, extreme 4x4 is all off road vehicles and search and restore they rebuild someone's (person involved in an accident, had family problems, etc) car in 30 days. They properly build everything in this they are not just built for show.

Can't think of anything else but this should last you about a month I reckon. Ah my days at university were well spent.

I cracked a rib last weekend, so have unexpectedly had the week off... It would have been really bad, but luckily I was prescribed a hell of a lot of morphine..... :)

If you like the Pacific and band of brothers you may like Generation kill It is the same style but in Iraq, that will take up about 10 hours.

Other TV that I like that is currently running would be Californication, The Walking dead and Community. You could proberly just watch them online.

also if you are out for 3 weeks you could get a 1 month free trial at netflix and I guess you could watch alot of films.

Get better soon.
