I'm off to Mini Sport Padiham next Friday to have one of their Road Sport Stage 3 Heads fitted to my 2000 MPI. The car already has a Maniflow exhaust and manifold, along with a KN induction kit.
Anyone give me a heads up on what to expect from the modification, and from Mini Sport in general?

opinions vary with minisport, some people have had good dealings from them and others not so, i personally dont use them anymore as their after sales service leaves a lot to be desired!!

I'm reasonably happy with my MiniSport Stg 3 head.. It's producing over 100bhp with it on.. (Have done further work to the head rim flow valves and the better valve guides)

But I wouldn't let them work on my car...

I'd wait to find out what they will be like. Dont go in with a midset that they are idiots (which they are NOT)

Have fun on the drive back ;)

I can only report good experiences with minisport. The 1310 engine kit they supplied me was spot on! No issues at all. I've heard good things about their cylinder heads too. A few people have them in our club and they are all still going strong.
