To mount them on the door, can I just drill holes and use screws? Or do they need to line up with holes/mounting locations already in the door?

I don't really want to take the door panels off to find the holes if possible. Every time I do, the panel pegs like to break off...

You should really take the door cards off and use the small square plastic pegs that will take the screws rather than drilling

you could in theory, but that theory would be damn hard to do. as there is alreadyholes there so you would have to miss them, also. the glass is behind that so you may struggle with the length of screw and you would have to get it right the first time

When I had the door cards off before, I don't recall seeing the square pegs, or any holes for that matter. Weren't these door bins installed on later Minis? So not all doors would have the pegs?

And if there are pegs, what's the easiest way to transfer the hole location to the door card?

Maybe I don't want door bins after all...

I took off the card when i was mounting mine and found no holes squares in the area of the holes so i drilled my on and pop riveted the pockets on as it looks nicer that screws
