Hi guys, been a while!


Just wondering what, if any, is the difference in geometry between the standard (http://www.minisport...nfo_BTA897.html) and Cooper S (http://www.minisport...nfo_BTA894.html) steering arms?

Double the price for non 'cooper s' arms

They have the same geometry as a mk2 on arm, Cooper S arms are just beefier.

So I can save some money and buy Cooper s arms for my 85 without upsetting anything

The reason i asked is that i am swapping to alloy front hubs, so was going to get some new steering arms aswell.

Not 100% sure between KAD or minisport versions to be honest...

Was looking at the arms and minisport come with cooper S, KAD dont have any...
Minisport also use a 3 bolt modified Cooper S, where as KAD use normal twin bolt... Very confusing on the justification for this....

It's 6 of one and half a dozen of the others to be honest.

Personally I would go for the KAD ones but that's only because I have a bit if a KAD fetish.

I was asking/hijacking cause ive got a brand new hub so thought I'd put a new arm on (and cause I cant get the old one off!!)

Amd anything that saves me money but is still a good part is a bonus :)
