today is the first day of operation bedroom

when we bought this 2 bed house there were only 2 of us, 10 years later we are 4 and the kids just don't get on sharing

the plan is a small first floor extension to house a down stairs shower + toilet with a bedroom above this and the existing kitchen

as the back of the house is a lot higher than the ground level there will be a small cellar below

today i get the digger in :D

Don't do what we did bungle! We had an extension built and the digger driver parked his digger in the whole he'd just been digging. Tried to pull it out with our old Freelander, gave up. Got someone with a range rover, didn't work, Disco, didn't work, in the end a combination of a Defender pulling the digger and the digger pushing itself up :P

I'll see if I can find the pictures :D

Can't you put the family overspill in one of your garages? Then you can get more auto parts in the house and they don't argue.

Now, you see.

I did say, don't do what we did. But, I think. You may have, just maybe. Over done it....
