Well had Ruby for 6 mths now and spent around £600 on mechanical bits n bobs - she runs sweet now :proud: cannot wait for spring as the body work is also in very good nick

Which made me think...i have now discovered a Detailing website which is pretty anal in terms of what to use and how to clean your car
Been inspired - even went out and bought 2 buckets as this is the correct way for washing :shy:

Q What products do you use/recommend to get that bodywork/chrome gleaming?

Cheers

lenny

autosol i used for years on my motorbike for brightwork. http://www.truckstuf...CFeXLtAodFyoAUg

2 bucket method is a must!! when i finish mine i shall detail the engine bay with a light oil (at work we use px24 but something like wd40 and polish up with a rag to keep the rust away)

autoglym stuff is magical, and everything matches in their nice white bottles! which is a good thing if you love your cleaning. also, its what Jagaur and Aston MArtin use when cleaing their cars. so must be ok!
