Hi all, has anyone had the problem of the srs light staying on all of the time?, if so how did you remedy it? I thought I'd ask first before I start messing with it so I know where to start looking for the problem.
Cheers.

Unplug the battery half an hour before you start this, then check the connections in the rear pockets, under the rear seat, and behind the airbag. It's likely one has just worked lose or slightly damaged, particularly the one in the steering wheel. Certainly the first thing to check.

watch out though using a multimeter on the SRS circuit can deploy the airbags or seatbelt pre-tensioners which is nasty!

all SRS wiring should be yellow too :)

Thanks guys, the cars only done 22,000 miles from new so it shouldn't be anything too drastic (I hope)

one common fault is the clock spring, (rotating couple that connects the airbag in steering wheel with the rest of the circuit) which is about £150 new from minispares, so if you dont find a fault elsewhere would be an idea to check that next :)

does your horn work? If not then look at the rotary coupler as alex suggested.
