Dash Rail Speaker Pods

Does anyone have experience of the dash rail speaker pods sold by custom consoles or optimize auto.?
Specifically..
Are they worth having sound wise
Do you kick them getting in and out
Are the sealed ones worth the extra money considering they are only really going to give mid to high notes
I want some to cover the hole where the fuse box used to be on my new carpet.
Thanks Mow

Sorry about the quality and how dirty my car is.

Looks like you're running components or are the tweeters well hidden on those speakers?
And you say you don't hit your feet getting in and out?

Good morning,
If you are after sound quality you need to completely ignore the Custom Consoles pods and our opened backed version. The open backed pods don't offer any advantage sound quality wise. You may as well simply hang a speaker from your dash rail (you would get the same sounding result). We simply offer an open backed version because it's what Custom Consoles offer - so it's there to rival them and also as a cheap option.
If your are after sound quality go for the AP pods, but if you can't quite afford the AP ones go for the sealed pods. But, I'd seriously recommend going for the AP pods as the difference in sound quality between the sealed and AP pods is worth the extra money.
If you have any further queries or questions please contact me.
Thanks

Blimey they look huge, did you go for the 6.5" ones?

Yeah they are 6.5 Comps and the crossovers are inside the console and tweeters are just resting under the dash cover until I find the best way to mount them And I really dont hit my feet, it might be just because I naturally take more care knowing they are there.
They do look huge...... On a side note, are those seats Ford Xr/RS? They look smart in the car....
Indeed they are, they are also very comfortable and keep me nice and snug

Next thing on the list is a new dash rail!
