Is there an epidemic of defective bulbs sweeping the country at the moment? On average I count between 8-10 cars on my commute to work, which takes about 10 minutes. Tonight however, while i was stood waiting to meet my mum from work I counted 18 cars with a defective bulb and a newer shape Megane with its brake lights stuck on apart from the pass side which was blown. Considering i was only stood there about 12 minutes and its not an overly busy road i thought this was a tad excessive.Is this the same in other areas or is this a Midlands thing?

Because alot of people dont check them. I check mine at least every 2 days

I've noticed the same thing, and it has bugged me every time I've been out this winter.
