Popular in the 70's and 80's when the carbs were nicked of fords...

They work ok, but are not a flexible in tuning as the SU carb, especially the HIF44, and use a bucket load of fuel.

i have a 28/36 on a tuned 1098 and love it never had a problem with it they only use lots of fuel if you open the second choke all the time which is hard to resist the only issue can be bonnet clearance raisers are often needed depending on filter choice

Have any if u lot seen a manifold like this befor as to me it seems a really good one compared to them ones with completely 90 degree bends on ? Like the general manifolds are I've got a electric fuel pump and reg on my mini any way so I imagine keeping fuel to it won't be an issue

hi, i used a 28/36 DCD on my 1275 for a while and i had it setup on a RR and got good results i found it had loads more torque than a HIFF44 and more power, i would defently recomend one :D
