Finally bought my next Mini, a gorgeous Clubby! Bought her off Mini Will from here and drove her back home on Wednesday, through some of the worst weather Ive ever driven in  There were a couple of hold ups involving a split HT lead shorting on the block every time a lorry drove past and sprayed up into the engine bay, but it was soon found and bodged with tape, new one on now :) Shes got most of her original panels and is very solid, no rust at all and the paint is very good, just need to keep her that way.

Anyway, heres a couple of pics, the first lot are taken by me and the second are by Mini Will :)

Mine: (Edit: sorry about the quality of mine, photobucket has not been kind to them!)

Apparently the real reason for the design of a clubman front was to accomodate multiple air horns! :-)

Looking good. I love clubmans.

Love this car to bits. I think I would go as far as saying best clubby on the forum. Great buy!

Excellent looking clubby. Love the colour combo between the light lenses and the black paint

A nice car indeed. Make sure you look after it to the same extent he has. And get off here and go and drive it!

That is one very nice Mini you've got there. It looks 'purposeful', if that's the right word.
The wheels, tyres and ride height all look exactly right and if the black paint finish is as good as it looks, with some Autoglym polish it'll look concours.

A friend of ours had one identical to this back in the 90s when we had our Mini 1000's.
I always loved the black vinyl interior in her black Clubman. V smart.

Thanks for the compliments guys! The paint really is as good as it looks in the pictures, found the receipt from the sprayers in the history file, £2000! Horns still on, quite like it, its a dixie one  At the moment my plans are to lift the ride height at the rear by about 1.5 inches (I know some will be gasping here ahem Harrison ahem :D ) but its just a tad too low for my liking, as she is my daily driver - and to drive and polish her! Ive just finished putting up a polly tunnel greenhouse thing to keep the rain off her, its a 10 point turn to get in and out but shes off the road, out of sight and dry. Oh, I need to wax oil her too, as I think its just paint on the underside at the moment.

Lovely, I'll be interested to know how you find the A032s in the wet!
