hi all, i took the mini out this morning, everything was fine, then the indicators stopped working, i've checked the fuses, checked for a loose connection etc, the hazards have stopped working as well.
if i run a wire from the fusebox to the flasher unit then they work ok (as do the hazards)
so obviously there is a problem with the live feed to the flasher unit but i'm no electrician and need some help.
the car is a 1993 mini.
any ideas guys?
cheers.

Did you check the in-line fuses too?

i could see 2 inline fuses under the steering column, i think that 1 is for the stereo because when i took the fuse out the stereo went off, i'm not sure what the other one is for though, is there a seperate inline fuse for the indicators/hazards then?

Indictor fuse is on the bulkhead in the engine bay.

If the hazzards have stopped working then it could be the hazzard warning switch, when that fails it can screw up the indicators.
