hi i have gaz coilovers all round on my mini
the rears are perfect
however i want to lower the fronts by 10mm but if i do that the spring is not under tension and when you drive over a small bum there is the loudest bang ever how can i prevent this do i need longer springs or can i not lower it

shorter shocks would limit the travel

so to lower my car the extra 10mm i need to change the shocks from std hight to lowered just for the extra 10mm

well theres two point were you can mount the shock and its already on the highest one might just have to settle for the hight its at maybe lower my arches a little

Hey dude you had the same problem i did! Basically throw the springs u got away they are too soft, the sound u hear is either the springs bottoming out or the shock knocking against the mount thats what i found, i have 400lbs springs on mine and have it lowered nicley and still plenty of travel

I've got 325lbs springs I think

So we're do I get the stronger springs

I got mine off a site called rally design! They take alot of faffing around ive now found lol
