sorry havent got a clue as mine was fitted before i bought it. I am pretty sure this is the sort of thing that would need to be done professionally though. Mine is blended, which to be honest is a pain in the butt! If you think about it - for example - you get a rusty sill which needs repairing or replacing, if the kit is blended you would have to rip it all of to fix it. Kits do look nice imho but can hide a lot of problems as i am now finding out.

I think you might be able to fit it your self as (now don't qute me on this) all the fixings / screws / bolts etc are screwed through the body work from behind into the body kit.

The main prob with blending a body kit into the body work are as said above,
And as the body kit flexes with daily use, the filler etc, that's used to blend the kit to the car will over time crack, allowing water in behind, sit and rot the panel.

Before the kit is fitted thought to stop any hidden rust, paint all the areas that will be covered by the kit (front and rear valances) with something like Hammerite,
It don't have to be neat as it wont be seen, although to hide these areas even more you could paint them black.

With body kits - cheap isnt allways worth the hassle, there are a lot of 'cheap' kits and fibreglass kits on ebay but you will only get what you pay for. We are mainly trade suppliers and supply kits to mini dealers worldwide, most of the kits you see in the mags are ours :w00t:

Our ERA Turbo Replica kit is the only true replica of the 7 piece ERA kit avaliable, its so good we supply the sections to garages repairing original ERA Turbo's

Fitting is fairly easy, but as with all kits (especially on Mini's) the more time you spend prepping the fit, the better it will be, this also depends on if its had new wings/front panel/a panels etc as this can vastly effect fitment, but the ERA can be fitted with a rubber bead if you take your time

Mini forum get 10% of those prices, and this weekend you will get 20% of all ABS own brand items (see other post)
