Hi guys,

I'm sorta new here but I thought I'd see if any of you could help me with something. I work for a car finance company in the UK, and I do a lot of their design/social media work. I've done a new infographic, which takes 6 cult-classic cars such as the Mini, Scirocco and 500, and compares the old classics to the new "resurrected" versions.

I was wondering if anybody could take a look at the Mini graphic linked below, and let me know if I've made any mistakes? It'd be greatly appreciated! Posted Image

Also, if you guys are interested in the full infographic with all 6 cars, here's the blog post it's in. I've already heard a few things about the 6-series and 500 I need to change. I didn't do the research, just pulled the numbers into photoshop and made it look pretty ^_^ Just can't get the staff these days!...

Thanks guys!

I'm not entirely sure where we got the 96mph figure, but surely it must be possible in one of those lil guys ^_^

The power figure for the classic is about right for a 1275 as well.

I'm almost certain that there were about 5.5 million classics built, but best to get someone elses opinion first...

The later cars fuel tank capacity is about 35 litres, the early cars had a 25ish litre tank, so up to you which one to use, but the 35 litre tank is much more common.

That average second hand price is too high, I'd say about £3000 or so at best, and probably a bit less than that in reality.

The fuel economy might be a bit low, it's not too hard to get 40 or even 50mpg if you drive sensibly enough.

Sorry to pick so many holes, hopefully others agree with me on these points and help you improve your infographic (which looks lovely by the way ;D)

Looks like book figures for a 1275 "S" Mk3, the economy figure seems a mile out - up to 29 miles actually.
