Yes, he lives in the French alps with his partner and my 2 youngest grandchildren.


Bleeding heck he's far from home, must be a long trip to see him in the glider ey :lol: .

It's great to go visit and a beautiful drive through France and just through Switzerland. 570 miles from Calais but almost all motorway (mainly expensive toll roads).

You put a huge piece of special foam in the tank and it stops slosh! It takes up next to no space in terms of volume so you don't worry about capacity. Only thing is you can't use a standard type fuel level sensor with it as it would not be able to move!


Could you not make a baffle/partition with just enough room to house the sender unit? Maybe in the middle section of the tank?

I'll be using a VDO dip sender, which has no moving parts visible, it is just a tube with a flange on the top. This way you can have baffles, foam etc tightly packed in without it upsetting the sender :)
