You could argue it's pointless paying a premium for it if you are going to wipe out any low miles resale value in a couple of years of long distance commuting.
I certainly would be working along those lines. Don't assume low mileage = problem free, rubber suspension bushes perish with age and not just mileage

Managed to get the car fully serviced through mini dealership and the service history updated. I rang the BMW hlp line thingy (£1 per minute!) to make sure there had been no re calls on the car. Checked the HPI cert and the MOTs etc. Happy with the px amount offered. Took the man with me too!
