Boo-yah need to get back on this. Trolling capabilities were unrivalled. It's been a while but may have to get on again this week.

Think my name was 8007H (eight-zero-zero-seven-H)

I have sore joints from decades of gaming (maybe martial arts, but mostly gaming). Is your injury through gaming ?

I had to give up RTSes for the same reason. Still seem to be ok with FPSes so far but they ached yesterday after a 4 hour session after work. I've been having cod liver oil, glucosamine/MSM/chondroitin tablets daily for the last 5 years though, so that may have delayed the inevitable for a bit.

it takes years of it to build up though, so not an overnight preventative/cure. The combo MSM pills are 3 for £10 at Asda. The best cod-liver oil to get is the one with enough dhA and EPA (I think) which is the seven seas liquid bottle one (the capsules are too small according to a doctor).

I do use my works mouse on my left hand game using my right (and can play Quake 3 using mice on either hand) to preserve my joints. Maybe it's a martial arts thing that made me preserve/use both sides. I'm glad I did as I should be a wreck at the moment with the dozens of hours of gaming per week I do at my age (whilst using a PC at work)

Oh and I have done a few weights (very few) but have managed to strengthen my cartilages I hope

Ahh thanks for that,I'll definatley have a look, rather annoying as it makes my elbow ache and I'm doing an ICT course at college, have become a pro at using my left hand as my mouse hand now. It's weird how I can ride my moped do other tasks fine just holding a mouse or doing movements that imitate a mouse hurt like mad

The tip my martial arts teacher told me was "use your right hand to teach your left hand", it sort of makes sense rather than asking your mind/hand to relearn something from scratch
