Hi,
Is it possible to add a rev counter to a mini that doesn't have one? And if so how?
Cheers,
Dave

The wires are there already on most minis, just need to get your mitts on a three clock dash and its a 5 minute job.

What about if I have a separate rev counter?

The wiring already fitted to all cars from the early '80s on will run any standalone tacho (except old RVI types), all you will have to provide is an earth and a lighting connection if not using the built in type.

An '87 Mayfair had a tacho as standard I believe so they will definitely be there. They are present on the vast majority of late looms whether the tacho was fitted to the model or not. Auto Sparks is a good source for looms.
