Can vouch for these. Bought some about 6 months ago. and they are really good quality and fit well. I had a cheap pair from ebay fitted and within a month the buckle had rusted, and after a year one snapped! These ones are well worth the money! Here is my mini with the straps

How do these fit? And how likely are they to scratch the bonnet? I really want some. Cheers.

They fit with bolts/rivets/fixings of your choosing through the eyelet holes at each end of the straps (two eyelets on each end, so eight in total), so you do need to drill some holes in your scuttle at least.

I can also vouch for these, they are beautiful quality and there is no way they can scratch your bonnet as the buckle is protected from the bonnet by a leather flap. My old pair of cheap straps did scuff the paintwork (my bonnet is knackered anyway so I didn't care) but I haven't had these long enough to see if they've done anything to the paintwork, however I would seriously doubt they'd do any harm as the leather is much nicer than the nasty ones I used to have.

Cheers otter. I'm gonna have a serious think about getting a set. Cars off the road at the moment for mot work so perfect time to fiddle with them.
