its not a mini but im working on my brothers 2000 vw polo that has been off the road for a couple years now and took it for a mot yesterday. the one thing it failed on was the rear n/s drum was binding (shoe to drum). the removal of the drum was a nightmare as the shoes seemed to be pushing out quite a bit on the drum. on inspection i noticed the wheel cylinder needed replacing so got that swapped over today then drum was really tight going back on and the wheel is just locked up now. could the shoes of seized in place as the handbrake was on for 2 years while it was parked up? any help or advice would be appreciated, thanks harry
