hi all thought i should start a thread for my pickup rebuild. i bought i before christmas and picked it up on one of the lorries here are a few pics to start with and how its looks at the mo . it probs will be a slow rebuild as im only a student but would like the pickup to be finished so i can use it for my first car :) what do you guys think ?

some of you may recognise the car it has been floating around ebay a few times but did come with with heritage inner wings two half floors a front subframe and several boxes of bits

good luck with the build! pickups are great and you have certainly got your work cut out! if you do the job properly it will be awesome!

its not as bad as it looks a the inner wings have been properly removed and i have heritage ones to replace them with and as i say if its worth doing its worth doing right and right first time :)

looks like someone had made a start on that, I think you will have fun doing that car looks good.

Yeah someonehas made a start on it but previous owner didnt have time to finish as had too nany projects on the go

not much to work from on the doors posts is there, will definitely have fun there :D

nice to see another pickup project, they all seem to be appearing lately

Yeah will have fun with the door posts thats the bit im most dreading but the drivers side does have a bit more metal and im also loving the amount of pickups at the mo helps me if i get stuck haha

Good luck with the build I brought one last year got it all stripped and haven't touched it in ages need sum money and motivation lol

yeah im just saving up abit more and then going to make a big order for panels and im going to get the steel from work to make a jig so i can remove the floors Dan

have been doing some research on previous owners and found that the garage that owned it several years ago is still going so might have to get in contact with them

but other than that not a lot has been done to this recently due to college and work commitments and was thinking about selling it to fund another project that i might finish sooner and as coming from lorry background am looking for a atkinson borderer unit so if the right of is made i might be tempted but would love to see it done
