Selling on behalf of a valued customer, here is a very rare opportunity to acquire what must surely be the lowest mileage 1988 Classic Mini Mayfair around.

It has covered just 14,000 Miles in its 25 year life!

It absolutely drives like a new car and the bodywork is in exceptional condition and having driven it for the past few days I can report fuel economy in the region of just 11 pence per mile and no faults whatsoever!

It has a long MOT and 5 months tax. The V5 is present and the car can be viewed and any inspection / test drives are welcomed by appointment at Minispeed Ltd, Unit 4-5 Abbot Close, Byfleet KT14 7JN.

This car would be perfect for young drivers as it is in a very low insurance group or for the more mature driver that enjoys the refinement of an automatic box.

Delivery can be arranged at a cost of £1 per mile 1 way upto 150 miles, full payment must be made in advance of delivery.

Payment strictly by cash or bank transfer. No cheques or Paypal.

Overseas buyers we can arrange a container shipping service for example £1800 to Malaysia

If not sold by Brooklands show (24th March) we will be taking it with us

It's the auto putting people off and I'd hate to rip the engine out of such a nice car to make it a manual

No idea why auto would put people off, my daily driver Audi is auto and I love it. I also love driving this mini and have used it a bit getting the mileage to 14,200 pottering around. Changing gear is such an old fashioned concept, remember this isn't a worn out knackered auto, its faultless and a joy to drive

Please don't take offence, but I think the problem is the price. It is a very nice car, but what do you do with it? If you use it regularly the miles rack up and its not special anymore. If you trailer it to shows its not going to get much attention as its a standard model. I bought a 13000 mile one owner City E two years ago. It needed a little work and wasn't completely standard (it had alloys and the previous owner had had the interior retrimmed in leather). I won't say what I paid, but it wasn't close to 4k. Looking at the pics it looks almost museum quality, but that doesn't always translate into 'desirability'.
